Turn on the Bluetooth in the cell phone and make sure the ‘Visible’ option is on or ‘Shown to all’ is enabled, otherwise, even when the Bluetooth is activated, the device will not be found in search results. Also, you need to know the name of the mobile phone or the Bluetooth identity of the phone to find it in the current device searches and distinguish from other Bluetooth enabled devices within the range. Now, find ‘Bluetooth devices’ from the ‘Control Panel’ and ‘Hardware and Sound’. Now, identify the name of the computer and ensure the ‘Discovery and Connections’ are checked. Pair both the Bluetooth devices and when a passkey will be asked for, enter ‘0000’ the default value. Now, complete the process by accepting connection on your mobile phone. I have a dell. bought it new at best buy. windows 10 and I connected my usb from my cell ( samsung galaxy j1 ) and its not transferring my music to the computer not sure why.
